50 more spring bulbs planted today with the help of two D of E silver group girls doing there volunteering section with myself and my John Muir group.

My wild harvest trees arrived today for my John Muir group to start planting next week around the school grounds.

1st Longniddry Cubs sit engrossed as they take in the John Muir Award Introduction video. They are very enthusiastic. We have already cleared a rubble bag of rubbish from the woods, cleared back some invasive snowberry and hung a peanut feeder and a fat and seed ball feeder in the trees.

Sequoia Tree- During our nature walk we explored the grounds of Lockerbie Manor. We explored the sequoias tree. It's a giant of a tree! We found out they live a very long time and wasps like to create hives in them.

Will an instructor from Manor Adventure took us on a nature walk. He showed us a variety of trees, plants and discussed the wildlife found around Lockerbie Manor. We explored and discovered working with our cluster schools St Mark's and St Thomas'. We then went on a scavenger hunt, working in teams to collect and identify plants and insects.
