A feature of traveling by bike is not carrying too much, so that meant supporting local cafes! Life's pretty good when you take local action to tackle global goals. Sustainable transport leads to yummy local food 😀

The coast around Dunbar is spectacular with some great tiny harbours like this miniature one at Seacliffe.

An amazing story starts with a broken longbow found in 1990, and is now a flourishing native woodland. How appropriate to visit on the day of the launch of the Charter for Trees, Woods and People. Enjoyed finding the great biodiversity as local work to tackle the Global Goals #lifeonland

We had a brilliant time exploring the caves in the Ingleton Area, October 2017. As John Muir said “Fresh beauty opens one's eyes wherever it is really seen ............ even to creep like worms into dark holes and caverns underground, not only to learn something of what is going on in those out-of-the-way places, but to see better what the sun sees on our return to common everyday beauty.”
