Larbert High School Humanities S1 John Muir Award encourages pupils to explore the experiences and outcomes of Curriculum for Excellence for Geography, History, Modern Studies and Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies. Pupils partake in weekly meaningful outdoor learning experiences to gain an understanding of the significance of the outdoors, its contributions to green health and the importance of conservation and protecting wild places - Carron Dams and Lade, a local nature reserve adjacent to the High School.
