Our whole class went pond dipping in one of our wild spaces. We found a freshwater shrimp, it was tiny. We respected the swans who were very curious. Steven's dad came along too, it was a lovely morning.

Sophie did some research about squirrels and made a poster to share her findings. She then found one in her wild space to get close to.

Sarah worked with her family to make a bird house. she went on a nature walk and found lots of different plants living in her wild space. She made a map of her wild space with detailed directions.

Sarah explored her wild space and found lots of plants growing there, her brother and the family enjoyed joining in too. She explored using her senses. Sarah researched red squirrels and made a poster of her findings. Sophie recorded her walk.

Flynn and his family found and identified several different types of leaf. they also discovered lots of kinds of moss on the trees in their wild space. As a family they created a poem about nature we take for granted.

Flynn did some research on red squirrels and recorded it on a poster. He explored his wild space and discovered lots of different plants, with seeds berries and different coloured leaves.

Flynn and his brother made bird feeders which they then hung out for the birds. Flynn was able to watch the birds and identify some of his visitors
