Not put off by the cold or dark the Cubs set about making log piles and habitat piles in the woods tonight. We hope that we can have a future activity seeing who has taken up residence. We filled fat/seed ball, peanut, nyger seed and mixed seed feeders and hung them back up in the tree. We contacted Saving Scottish Red Squirells to let them know about the two grey squirells that visit our feeders.

Another visitor to our feeders. The Cubs will refill them at tonights meeting. We plan to build some habitat piles, identify leaves and see if we can estimate the age of some of the trees in the wood tonight.

The bird feeders are proving a hit with the locals. Great tit, long tailed tit and blue tit all visited in a 15 minute period. Caught two grey squirrels at the fatball feeder yesterday!
