Walking bare foot in the woods helps us to feel our environment far more, it also helps when we are playing stalking games, using our fox's feet.

We started camp on week one with a ceremonial entrance through our woodland arch, creating our woodland tribe

We learn as a group, or in our smaller tribes, supporting and learning from each other. We are able to learn in a hands on way in this magnificent environment

We are constantly exploring and discovering this wonderful natural environment, learning along the way. This is a Birch Polypore, a bracket fungus which grows on birch trees. This fungus has been used for thousands of years for medicine, it is an Immune tonic, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumour, anti-parasitic, anti-septic, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, styptic. It also makes a great natural plaster, if you cut yourself a strip can be wrapped around the wound to help it heal
