Wharton Park - Fire Pit/Discover

Fire pit session at Wharton Park. The students learned what wood/kindling was needed to light a fire, how to use a flint and steel and how to maintain the fire once lit. They collected the wood from the nearby wooded area and they made smorres. After they learned how to responsibly put the fire out and leave the area tidy. 2.5hrs
