Our Final Day
-
Some of our classmates were missing today and were sorely missed by us all!!! We toasted Marshmallows by the Fire Side and talked and listened to Lynsey and Fiona as they continued to help us learn in an Active Way! The sun and rain fought against each other to see who the better view and we took shelter under the canopy of trees more than once! But the fire and chat kept us warm as we laughed with Kevin as he attempted to use his Flint to create a spark! Glasgow City Council recognised our Efforts with some fantastic certificates which will be there to remind us of what we have achieved. Our John Muir Award were there as well and will be kept with us all - even Colin recieved his which was good!! This will be our final post of this adventure and all that is left to say is a HUGE THANKYOU to our amazing Countryside Ranger friends (Allison, Lynsey, Fiona and Gavin) for all that you have done! To our fantastic Support Workers Natalie, Susan, Eddie and Billy who joined in and helped to make it a great experience! Sharing the Experience has really made it a success. The crazy thing was that in August of last year “We only went out for a walk, and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, we found, was really going in.” Best The GK Wild Learners
