Planning our Hillwalking Route
-
Thursday 24/2/18 we took a look at the hillwalking route we decided on doing on Sunday 4/3/18 it is a trail called Crockmore/Crockbrack way in the Sperrin mountains which is our local area . We plan to start early and do a litter sweep along the way and wildlife surveys while also just enjoying the stunning views and fresh air as we move through the route and hopefully we can leave it in a better place as we found it. The route itself is 11.5km long with a top height of 526 metres which will make for a good QMD (quality mountain day) which will also work in for our scouts adventure skills badge.
