Reflections: from the Murrayburn Staff

Here are some comments from myself P5b Teacher, the P5a Teacher and our amazing P6 PSA who agreed to step in and helped to make this opportunity possible. She definitely went over and above as she had to do the scoot twice each week.π βThe JM award was a brilliant opportunity for children to get active and enjoy the outdoors.", "It was encouraging to see even the most reluctant children enjoying being outside", "The children showed a respect for nature and a determination to look after it." βIt was a very different experience, but one that I thoroughly enjoyed taking part in with the amazing P5 classes. I was really proud how positive the children were to try something new and showed real determination on their scooters.β β I was a bit nervous when we first decided to take the children along the towpath on scooters! But I am glad we worked together to put all the safety aspects together and share this with the children and they thrived on the responsibility.β βI loved the enthusiasm and participation they showed in taking part in all activities and the curiosity they showed when discovering and exploring the Quarry Park. π
