Mindfulness Practice

Today I went into the woods and practiced mindfulness, I used all my senses like the animals would to hear, see, feel and smell my surroundings. Then I sat on a tree stump and listened to everything around me, I heard lots of birds singing. I created a mandala, which is a compass made with natural materials that Native Americans used, I made it from leaves, sticks and mushrooms, then I stood in the middle of the mandala and did an exercise that involved breathing and being thankful for what nature has. It made me feel relaxed and refreshed.
