Checking on wildflower seeds and Grow Big seeds in greenhouse. Planting up the boat outside school to add some colour in the spring. choosing a story to add to the ebook.

The group made fat balls to feed the birds in early spring. They were not convinced they liked smooshing the fat with the bird seed! They hung them up on the trees and then noticed the catkins growing on the hazel trees.

We took part in the Big Grow. We grew peas, courgettes and cress. The cress we tried when it sprouted. The peas and courgettes had to be taken home due to lockdown. Still growing nicely.

We planned to have a second Explore session, however due to the weather we had to cancel! It was very windy and what we didn’t need was a gust of wind when scooting along the canal path with 24 kids! Safety first. 😀
