Which way does the water run?

Thanks to amount of rain we had the night before, we were able to look at how streams run down towards the river. First of all, Oscar searched for the perfect stone to dig a stream/channel, then we decided on where to start. After we finished digging we sent a leaf down and watched it run to the river. When we arrived home we looked at our own garden and where the wettest part of our grass was. We discussed how the rain runs down hill to the bottom of our garden.
